We’re currently looking for a proffessional to join us as a Head of Supply Chain Planning. Supply Chain Planning is a highly integrated team that shall act as the nerve center of the supply chain, using data and planning tools to drive agility, efficiency, and resilience. Therefore the team is responsible for a set of strategic, tactical, and operational processes that align supply and demand across the value chain. It involves forecasting, inventory optimization, production and supply planning, and collaborative decision-making through S&OP and S&OE processes. SCP aims to balance customer service, cost, and profitability, by emphasizing on cross-functional alignment and process integration.
Within the Head of Supply Chain Planning role is the responsibility to transform the existing supply chain planning unit (PSD) into the above described setup in terms of alignment of process, organizational roles, and technology as well as S&OP and S&OE process design and improvement.
Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for sales and budget management in the Groceries & Discounter segment
- You actively acquire new customers and manage existing accounts
- You conduct terms and contract negotiations
- You expand existing listings and product placements
- You continuously monitor the market and competition, including:
- Competition and potential analyses
- Development of action and activity plans
- Creation of product innovations and new product ideas
- You prepare forecasts
- You develop and implement the strategic direction for brand and private label in the food retail sector
Your Profile
- You have completed vocational training or a degree in business administration, sales, or a related field
- You have several years of professional experience in sales and food retail, ideally with expertise in the pet food sector
- You possess business-fluent English, both written and spoken
- You are characterized by your open, communicative, and outgoing personality
- You have strong team spirit
- You are proficient in CRM and ERP systems, ideally including SAP
