Demand Planning Data Analyst

Responsibilities

Forecasting & Demand Planning

  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts based on historical data, market and sales insights, and statistical analysis methods.
  • Analyze forecast deviations (e.g., MAPE, BIAS, FVA) and define corrective actions to improve accuracy.
  • Participate in the development and enhancement of forecasting models and methodologies
  • Continuously optimize demand planning processes, including structuring Demand Review meetings, integrating sales enrichment, and enhancing collaboration workflows.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Design and maintain dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI, Excel).
  • Conduct ABC/XYZ analyses, trend evaluations, and seasonality studies to support forecast quality.

Business Support

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, and Supply Chain teams to align and improve forecasts.
  • Develop scenarios and simulations for inventory and capacity planning.

Expectations

  • Education: Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or an analytical role.
  • Knowledge of forecasting methods (e.g., time series analysis, moving averages, exponential smoothing).
  • Advanced Excel skills (including complex formulas, pivot tables).
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Basic knowledge of statistical tools (e.g., Python).
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Process-oriented mindset and structured problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex topics in simple terms.
  • Team player with a proactive approach.
  • Good level of English.
