Tasks
- Procurement of packaging materials for assigned product groups in the required quality and at market‑oriented prices.
- Development and implementation of procurement strategies — from sourcing to contract signing.
- Execution of tenders to optimize costs and ensure market transparency.
- Contract, supplier, and complaint management across all packaging categories.
- Close collaboration with internal interfaces (e.g., packaging development, marketing, QM/QS, planning & scheduling).
- Analysis of raw material and procurement markets and derivation of action strategies.
- Negotiation of agreements and supply contracts within the area of responsibility.
- Preparation of presentations and reports, maintenance of supplier and price databases, organization of meetings, audit support, and deadline monitoring.
Expectations
- Experience in purchasing, ideally in packaging, and relevant educational background (e.g., economics, logistics, technical fields)
- Presence at the factory in Nowy Tomyśl: at least once every two weeks, and presence at the office in Poznań at least once a week.
- Confident use of MS Office and ERP systems.
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
- Organizational skills and a structured working style.
- Knowledge of inventory control and supplier management.
- English skills at least at B2 level.
- Sense of responsibility for product safety and quality.
- Nice to have: German language skills, skills in using digital tools for market research, participation in trade fairs and congresses, experience with international suppliers and import processes, knowledge of product safety and legal requirements
