Controller (Operations & Supply Chain Management)

Responsibilities

  • Production Controlling: Analysis of manufacturing costs, variance analysis (actual vs. target), monitoring of machine hour rates, and evaluation of production efficiency. 
  • Supply Chain Controlling: Management and analysis of logistics, warehousing, and transportation costs, as well as inventory optimization across the entire supply chain. 
  • Reporting & Analysis: Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, forecasts, and budgets for production and logistics functions. 
  • KPI Management: Definition, monitoring, and continuous development of production and logistics KPIs.
  • Business Partnering: Proactive financial sparring partner for plant management and logistics stakeholders, supporting decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Project Controlling: Financial support for investment projects (CAPEX), such as new production equipment or logistics systems.
  • OKR-Projects: Supporting in OKR driven lean management projects and optimization of value-added processes.

Expectations

  • Completed university degree in business administration or engineering with a focus on controlling, finance or supply chain management, or a comparable degree.
  • Several years of professional experience in the production or supply chain controlling of internationally oriented manufacturing companies.
  • Very good knowledge of planning processes, value driver models, forecasting, strategic controlling; experience with planning tools and data modeling is a plus.
  • A solid understanding of the OKR methodology and the monitoring of OKR goals is a plus.
  • Ability to work in an international team, as well as strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Structured way of working with stron.g understanding of the entire value chain (it’s profit & cost drivers) and the ability to think entrepreneurially.
  • High IT affinity, especially Excel and SAP (Modules CO, MM, PP, SD), Knowledge of Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel.
