Tribe Lead Digital Marketing Services

HYBRID (travel to: Kleinheubach, Germany every 8 weeks for 5 days + Nowy Tomyśl: 2 days every month + Poznań every 2 weeks for 3-5 days)

Department: Digital Marketing Services 

The Tribe Lead will be part of our new Digitalization Area which is up and running since January 2024. This area is one of our change driving units within the food family. As thought leaders and pioneers we have to recognize changes in customer expectations, market conditions, technical possibilities and external influences at a very early stage and find a response to them. 

Our mission is to deliver the best possible user experience to our customers 24/7 across all digital touchpoints to generate reach, brand awareness and revenue. This requires first-class digital marketing skills, an excellent understanding of data, and a keen sense of relevant trends. We consistently question how we can ensure greater efficiency and effectiveness with digitalized and automated processes in the food family. Within our new area we have also taken new paths regarding leadership. 

We have left the classical way, where personal and professional/functional leadership are in hands of only one leader. Instead we have separated these two responsibilities from each other, which means that the Tribe Lead is responsible for the professional lead of 4 direct and up to 30 indirect reports. The personal lead (and personal development) remains with the so called People Leads. The big advantage in that model is the capability to clearly focus on professional and personal strengths and abilities of people and to develop them further in a precise and target-oriented way.

Close cooperation with: Tribe & Expert Leads from Data & Platforms as well as with the two People Leads of the Digitalization Area Close cooperation with Brands and Sales Areas. External agencies, coaches and consulting partners.

Your tasks:

As the Tribe Lead, you will be responsible for leading and developing our Digital Marketing Tribe, comprising the Design, Social Media & Copywriting as well as Performance Marketing teams. You will be responsible for and work closely with our Customer Touchpoint Expert to create a consistent and compelling customer experience. 

  • Develop and implement an innovative and high-performing digital marketing strategy always aligned with our Brand marketing strategy 
  • Develop the required mindset, skills and motivation within the whole Tribe through mentoring, sharing knowledge and coaching 
  • Ensure that team members are meeting individual and team goals and provide regular feedback and coaching to help them improve 
  • Ensure brand consistency across all digital channels 
  • Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to dynamic market conditions 
  • Collaborate with other departments to create synergies and achieve company goals - Responsible for selecting and implementing marketing technologies and tools 
  • Work closely with brand management to develop digital solutions that meet customer needs 
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs, draw conclusions and continuously optimize marketing activities to ensure growth in brand and business 
  • Manage, plan and forecast 7-digit media budget 
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners and agencies 
  • Due to the cross-location cooperation, a high willingness to travel is required

Expectations:

  • At least 7 years of professional experience in digital marketing 
  • Proven success in leading (online-) marketing teams and projects
  • Deep understanding of all aspects of digital marketing, including social media, content marketing, and performance marketing (e.g. SEA, SEO, ...) as well as design 
  • Experience in budget management, allocation and optimization in matter of 
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset 
  • Excellent leadership skills, with a proven ability and passion to motivate and develop marketing teams as well as driving team success 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities in an international team with specialists and experts in Germany and Poland. 
  • Profound organizational skills and being a decision maker 
  • Knowledge in agile leadership as well as leading in matrix structures are an advantage 
  • Native speaker German or Polish and fluent communication in English
